Specialty Pack-Crate & Freight, is part of our name. And, specialty is exactly what packing an over sized automobile body kit is. This customer sells auto body kits to other vendors. We store, pack, fulfill and ship his orders out as needed. This blog takes you through the steps to our final phase. There is a lot of blocking and cornering with cardboard to keep the items from sliding about during shipping. We finish the whole thing off with a cardboard face-cover that will keep it tightly down and firmly in place. Give us a call or click the "Quote Link" on the top left sidebar to get a quote on any of your valuables that need that to be shipped with the special care our warehouse associates puts into every job. And if you are in the Murrieta area give us a call (951) 970-6908 to get a personal tour of our facilities so you can see and feel first hand the dedication we put into everything we do.

Packing, Boxing
This is a display set that a long time client needs to ship. First he must know that the items are packed properly. Although you cannot see the items they are in there and will be protected during the shipping process because of the double-walled box to the packing popcorn that will keep the items from shifting too much while in transit.

Palletizing Shipment
Well folks, Here we have two sets of tires and a set of weights. We needed to try to fit all of this on one pallet and make use of every square inch we could. The bigger tires were put on the bottom and the smaller tires were out on top and all of that was banded together. Next we had to secure the weights to the pallet to keep them from sliding off of the pallet during shipping. After all of that we added the bars to the top and side and black wrapped all of that as one whole piece. It did come out to 844 lbs. This is in the staging area waiting for shipping as soon as possible.

Palletizing A Shipment
Here we have two beautiful Mongolian Sheepskin sofas. Here we have shown the stages that have taken place to show the process in which we carefully pack and box these pieces in preparation for shipping. We spoke to in our August 20th. post, that we were waiting for additional pieces to complete the shipment of the chairs......, Well, This is it. Now we can start our next step to this shipment by stacking and palatalizing these two sets of furniture together and getting them on no more than two pallets. That step will be posted later today or tomorrow. (9-6-09)
