Slat Crates are wood structured pallets and sides to protect the item(s) like a sealed crate but gives the shipper and freight officials the opportunity to view the item(s) that are held within without taking off the lid. This also reduces the weight of the overall crate/pallet configuration.
There are even steps to packaging this item which may not seem to need any real packaging it requires the security of the smallest and fragile item. As you may have noted there is bubble wrap and foam padding on the more fragile areas of the item.
This will ensure if the item does rub the sides it will not scuff or damage those areas. You may not see that the item has been secured to the base by lengths of strapping and the kick-stand has been secured also keeping the item unable to move.
For security purposes we finish off the slat crate with a wrapping of black stretch wrap to keep prying eyes from inspecting the cargo. With a reduction of weight and cost to ship and materials, I'm sure we can package & ship your item(s) at the lowest possible rates.
